Our Story

Hi!  I am SO happy you stopped by the Kimmi Jo Shop!  I am passionate about faith, family (to include our furry family members), friends and our homes (our safe havens)!  

Our family spent many years moving across the United States while I was active duty in the Air Force, and it quickly became clear that having those special items we could move with us from place to place made all the difference in helping our house truly feel like a home no matter where we were actually located. These special things and traditions helped us have a strong foundation and a sense of security and happiness!  

What were the cornerstones that we discovered to keep us grounded and connected?

  • Bring beauty, comfort, and function into our homes
  • Give meaningful gifts to family and friends no matter how far away they are (we never want to miss a chance to let them know how important they are to us!)
  • Have inspirational items that help us focus on what's really important, and
  • Keep our family happy and healthy with things that bring us movement, smiles and joy (yes, even our pets).  

Even though we are now settled in our "forever" home (yes, I'll probably move again lol), these areas are still so important to maintain our haven and keep our family "vibe" in place.  They have also helped when we experienced unexpected challenges and heart-breaking losses (loss of my child this summer).  

So -- whether you move a lot or have been in one place for a long time, you know we all need that place "we can call home" where we feel loved, cherished, accepted and can truly relax.  Right?  That is what the Kimmi Jo Shop is all about!  

The Kimmi Jo Shop actually started out with a focus on our pets - keeping them happy and healthy - because if they are happy, it helps us to feel calmer and happier!   So you will find a pawsome selection of products for dogs and cats as well as pet parents!  

But, I am SO excited to announce that we are getting ready to expand into the other cornerstone areas with an ever-expanding lineup of products for you, your friends, and your home!
